Prayer Requests

One of the most important ways you can help Desire Street Ministries is to join us in praying and giving praise to God for how He is moving in the various lives and ministries we pursue.

...Please pray for the students, parents and staff of Desire Street Academy with the changes taking place that Danny mentioned on his page.

...Please pray the Lord would provide a means of transporting kids home from ministry programs at our New Orleans "home base" site at 3600 Desire Parkway in the Ninth Ward. Going into the fall, we are in need of a van or mini-bus as the days get darker and kids should not be walking home.

...Praise God that our summer day camp programs in both New Orleans and Baton Rouge went so well. We are looking forward to engaging many of these kids in after school programs this fall.

...Thank God for His faithfulness to St. Roch Community Church, having a good turn out for Sunday worship services, meeting the physical needs of their neighbors, and being able to continue working with the 35 kids who participated in their summer programs.

...Pray for Common Ground Montgomery as they still need about $300,000 to pay for the purchase and remodeling of a ministry building in the Washington Park area of Montgomery, AL.

...Please continue to pay for God's provision for DSM's needs during challenging economic times.
