Every intersection we have with a partner feels like a gift. As much as we love those, our most important and impactful intersection is with our Heavenly Father. As we continue to serve these leaders, we ask if you could be lifting us up in prayer!

We would love for you to intersect with our partners whether it’s as a champion for them on social media or getting involved by supporting them in the work they’re doing in their neighborhoods. 

OUR PARTNERS : Visit Desire Street Partners

• What Desire Street looks for in Ministry Partners (Some General Attributes of our Partners)
  • Certified 501c3 non-profit status or incorporated as a church.
  • Engaged in grassroots, holistic, Christ-centered offerings to an under-resourced neighborhood.
  • Actively serving in an official capacity for at least 2 years.
  • Active Board of Directors or Committee providing accountability and governance.
  • Humble Spirit for receiving coaching, consultation and engaging in vulnerable community.
  • Desire to engage in DSM network and supporting of other DSM partners.
  • Willingness to engage in a mutually transformative relationship with DSM.
  • Statement of faith that unequivocally affirms a faith in Jesus Christ.
  • Receptive to honest assessment, dialogue and accountability focused on moving towards thriving and sustainability.

• DSM Partnership Cycle
  • DSM’s Begins the Application Process for new Partners in November
    • Desire Street determines number of potential applicants based on:
      • Completion of Community Ministry Profile by Prospective Applicants
      • Capacity Based on Current Partners
  • If selected to apply, Partnership Applications are due mid-January with final interviews completed by mid to late February.
  • Selections of Partners for the upcoming year are made each Spring.
  • Partnerships are generally 4 years long, with June being the beginning of each Partnership’s yearly cycles.
